Bonfire

Overdue drawing for the horse here.
This is Bonfire, named after the horse from The Black Stallion's Blood Bay Colt and The Black Stallion's Sulky Colt by Walter Farley. (Can't remember right off if he was in any others, as it's been 10-15 years since I read them.) I changed his mane and tail to gray so I could shade them. I wanted to duplicate his coloring and try to include muscle shading, but I got my arm slammed in a car door a few days ago and drawing is still a bit painful, and this is way overdue as it is.
This is the first time I've ever seriously tried to draw a horse. Despite consulting an anatomy book throughout, I couldn't get the jaw shape and eye placement right, but I'll work on that too next time.
