EBC: Hamilcar

- Species: Canada Lynx
- Personality: Currently very inquisitive and playful as he's still a cub, but he is wary and standoffish with strangers.
- Background: His wild mother's den was raided when he was a few weeks old. He was put into a cage with a white lion cub named Hadrian and placed on a cart headed to the human city with the intent of being sold as a pet. But the cage fell off the cart in transit and broke open, and the two cubs escaped before the cart driver realized it. They encountered a pair of foxes in the woods and became separated as they fled. Hamilcar was found and taken in by a Lightning Empire patrol. They were unable to find the lion cub, but later learned he had been taken in by Fire Empire.

(I named him after Hamilcar Barca, the ancient Carthaginian general and father of Hannibal. Hannibal was one of the biggest thorns Rome ever had in its side - he terrorized the peninsula for 15 years and they couldn't do anything about it. I would have rather named him Hannibal, but that name is tainted nowadays.)
