My Evil Muse 2

Edit: Uploaded a higher-resolution image because I thought the words looked too fuzzy. (It's a problem for me since I'm legally blind, but I don't know about people with normal vision.) I suppose I could increase the font size, but like me, my characters talk too much, so...

First

This one is referring to how I can't summon my muse at will. I can try for weeks to actively come up with a new plot idea, but nothing will come to mind. But once I stop actively thinking about it, new ideas will sometimes just pop into my head within a week or so. Sometimes they don't, though. My muse is very fickle.

The only thing I can do is prime her with what I'd like to write about or draw, and then stop thinking about it and wait for her to come up with something. (It only took her a few hours to think up Sparklyena. Usually it takes a week or more.)

I was originally planning on drawing Zhenzhu holding her hook swords, but the pair I use for drawing reference is boxed up in my closet behind thirty cubic feet of junk and half a million spiders. (At least it seems like that. Shudder.) We're supposed to be moving sometime around March, so I'll have them dug out by then.

I just realized as I was halfway finished with the lineart that I've been drawing my character fidgeting the way I would when talking to a stranger for the first time. I thought I was just trying out different poses to challenge myself.

The next one will introduce a new character (there will be a total of four). I'll also try to include a brief explanation about why my muse chose her current form, outfit and name. The next one will probably take a while to finish, as I haven't designed the new character yet and I'm about to go back to college. I suppose I ought to work on character refs too.
